At our first onsite meeting even before we awarded JSR the project, Jason highlighted processes & possible issues related to our specific property. His generosity with his time & knowledge meant a lot to us as clueless first-time renovators. We appreciate his guidance on tile options & explanations on shower water flow during our showroom meeting. Our project was delayed due to a change in Strata Managing companies, & it was reassuring to have Richard helping us with our Strata renovation application, overseeing the whole process. We appreciate his guidance & advice, & his patience going through items in specifications and invoices, explaining any areas that we were not clear on. Richard also took time to listen to & address our concerns. David, our Project Manager is a gem. We were unable to visit as often as we liked, but David kept us updated throughout. We are not so easily contactable due to our busy schedules, so it is no mean feat. David made the whole process so easy and stress free, working around our schedule – we know the project could not have been so smooth nor could it have succeeded so well if not for David. We like the care JSR took in protecting the flooring of the common property & the inside of our apartment. Neighbours we met were also happy with how the renovations proceeded, and disturbances to them were kept to a minimum by JSR. We were also contacted by our Strata plumber asking for JSR contact details at the beginning of the project– we discovered that David tried to reach out to the Strata Plumber directly without troubling us. He took care of everything and made the whole process stress-free for us. As with a lot of projects, there is a risk that unexpected situations may arise and things might go wrong. And to us, this is the trial by fire that makes JSR come out as pure gold for our project. We are sharing just some of our experiences with Team JSR here as a testament to their quality service: 1. Because we decided not to replace the flooring, a built-in wardrobe that replaced an existing one left slight gaps on the flooring on the inside, an issue which David immediately notified us of. And somehow, on handover day, we discovered that he had fixed the problem for us even though it was not in the scope of the renovations we contracted to JSR, and we did not have to deal with the problem ourselves. 2. The gaps also occurred outside of the wardrobe to a lesser extent which David very kindly arranged for the painter to do a “no gaps” to hide the slight gaps as part of our paint job add-on with JSR. 3. We not only live far from the property, but also have time restrictions, and looking back, we do not know how David and Team JSR just made everything so smooth and easy, fitting into our schedule – we know that they must have made many sacrifices and adjustments to their regular routine to make things work so well for us (some that we know about, and others that we might not know of), and we deeply appreciate them for going above and beyond. 4. We chose not to go with professional end of renovation clean, planning to do it ourselves and save any professional cleaning for after our move there. Unbeknownst to us, David went above and beyond, and did a personal clean-up for us. He need not have cleaned to the extent he did, as JSR was only obliged to clear renovation debris, but he did - words failed us when we went for our handover inspection with our personal cleaning supplies prepared to do some pre-move preliminary clean-up, only to find that it had already been done for us by David. Words failed us then as they do us now. We will not hesitate to return to JSR for our future renovation works, and unreservedly recommend their services: 5-star customer service and 5-star quality work from a 5-star team. read less
