Good service. Good quality. Timelines slightly behind schedule. Overall satisfied and would work with JSR again. My wife and I had our two bedroom apartment renovated by JSR Builders October-December 2022. Work included kitchen, bathroom, laundry, common area floors and storage in the bedrooms. JSR were effective and efficient during the initial consultation and scoping of works. We had a tight timeline in order to attain strata approval, that JSR were helpful in achieving. We had one project manager for ~2/3 of the project, and another for the final 1/3. Both were professional and diligent at answering or investigating any queries. Communication was mostly proactive and effective. Where there were two minor miscommunications, JSR either rectified the issue themselves, or offered to do so at no extra cost Project timelines (12 weeks) were slightly behind estimate (8 weeks). JSR provided an initial estimate of 8 weeks, with the caveat that this assumed no unforeseen issues or delays. We had ~1 week of delays due to an issue with strata, and ~1 week of delay as we requested additional painting. We wonder whether an estimate of 10 (or 12 to be safe) weeks would have been more realistic. This would have helped us plan our alternative accommodation better. We have been very happy with the quality of the construction and finish. There were a few minor items that we brought to the attention of JSR when we moved in, that were resolved within a matter of days Overall, we are grateful for the work by JSR, are happy with the outcome and would recommend to friends and family (Would have been 4.5 stars, but google only allows full stars)

Did a renovation of two bathrooms and a kitchen with jsr, got flooring done by other contractor and painted ourselves. Jsr were professional and managed the project including all contractors throughout and even engaged with our flooring people on our behalf to organise the install. There were some hiccups but our project manager made sure to communicate early and offer solutions as needed. Overall great service, definitely reliable and very high quality. A higher quoted price than some other contractors but worth it if for the peace of mind of having your project completely managed by someone else.

I have recently renovated my apartment with JSR Builders and what a great experience. It was a complete renovation which involved structural changes, new kitchen design and installation, new bathroom design and installation, timber flooring, new doors etc. The transformation is amazing. I can hardly recognise my old apartment, which is now open and bright with so many modern touches. From the very beginning Jason and James assisted me with the design to maximise the use of space. Dealing with Richard to select my appliances and all the materials was an extremely smooth experience and his availability and responsiveness was impeccable. George's approach of sorting everything out was beyond expectations. His friendly and the 'can do' attitude was refreshing, giving me the reassurance that I was in good hands. Sam was the project manager who made the project a reality, and I could not thank him enough for his absolute dedication, professionalism, his calm, his friendly approach in every situation and for the fact that I could always trust and count on him. The final result that Sam achieved is of a high standard. He would call me to clarify every detail, he would advise me on new ideas and he would deal with body corporate and neighbours to ensure a minimum disruption to all residents. I was basically worry free. My project was completed on time, to a high standard. The synergy between Sam, George and Richard was undoubtedly perfect and professional. We used JSR Builders for the renovation of 2 bathrooms in our apartment. In short, our experience with JSR was an on-time and responsive company. They kept in regular communication with us during the process and ensured that in person meetings were arranged for key decisions. We were happy with the quality of the work performed and the end product. There were a few minor issues to be rectified, which they were responsive to and did their best to satisfy our concerns. We bought an apartment in old building and the kitchen looked outdated. After a long period of shopping around we decided to hire JSR builders to do the renovation. This was a challenge as the kitchen is small and it's a part of a relatively small apartment. However this family business did the job quickly and professionally. To overcome miner complications on a way they even call us when we were out of the country on holiday. All tradesmen were just perfect but they wouldn't do much should the company not have very efficient management.
