JSR renovated my apartment - throughout the whole process they were very accommodating and easy to work with. This was the first time I'd renovated anything, so I had a million questions that they patiently answered. There were a few things that I noticed when I visited the apartment in the middle of the renovations, and I made a mental note to bring them up with the team, but they were always fixed before I had time to contact them! I've heard a lot of horror stories about renovations and builders, but the whole process was smooth apart from covid-related delays that were out of everyone's control (they always explained the delays, and gave me realistic best and worst case estimates). I renovated my Manly apartment with JSR Builders and from start to finish the experience has been AMAZING. I received three quotes from Sydney builders and selected JSR Builders based on their creative ideas, clear quoting and google reviews. I changed my mind a few times during the process which the team were very flexible and accommodating of. I never felt pressured in any way, when there were decisions to be made I was given choices with the pros / cons of each. The kitchen was a particularly difficult space to work with and Jason, Alejandro, George and Andrew all had great ideas which we worked through and the end result is a highly functional space with amazing storage and looks beautiful. The bathroom is a small space and again the team came to together to workshop the options to achieve everything I needed from the space. I had a clear vision of what I wanted for the linen storage / study space to look like, after talking through the options, I now have a beautiful feature space that is even better than I had imagined. Everything from the tiling to the painting was thought through to ensure I had the best possible result, this attention to detail came from my Project Manager Alejandro, who was always available to answer any questions and managed everything for me. His calm nature and attention to detail ensured the process was easy and much less stressful! The team were at all times respectful, professional and polite. The apartment was handed back to me clean with all rubbish removed. The transformation of my space is incredible and I could not be happier, the team came in on time and within budget. The whole experience has been calm, efficient and enjoyable. Thank you to Jason, Richard, Alejandro, George and everyone involved for creating an amazing apartment for me. Would I recommend JSR?? Well they are about to start on their third project with me. The first was a renovation for my parents seven bedroom house. The second was a new build (3 bedroom 2 bathroom) on the tennis court of my parent house. Through the expertise project management of Sam, not one neighbour complained during the building works. In fact, they all were very gracious of Sam's continual communication throughout the neighbourhood. This current project is a small job of adding a new bathroom at my house. I'm sure it will be perfect...AGAIN. I cannot speak highly enough of Jason, Sam and Richard and their team. Jason with his renovation expertise. Sam's exceptional project management skills and Richard the one you only hear over the phone but his calmness and patience always helps when it comes to documentation. Highly recommend Jason from JSR Builders to anyone needing an apartment renovation. He is professional, reliable, efficient and honest. JSR Builders installed a new kitchen for us, however I wish they had helped us with the whole apartment. Jason went over and above to help us manage another builder we used for the wet areas to ensure we made them accountable. His proactivity and knowledge helped us with strata, when we found issues with our flooring. We are exceptionally happy with his work and service thus highly recommend. The kitchen was a stress free process and we love it!

Jason and his team is absolute outstanding. They have done a excellent job for our house renovation, and building our dream home. We had looked at 3 different builders and settled on JSR due to their extensive experience and resources available. The experience has been absolutely seamless and stress free. JSR completely gutted out our 1980s 2 bedroom apartment and took carriage of the entire operations from strata management, coordinating deliveries etc. Everything was completed on time with no surprise charges. All we had to do was just literally pick out supplies. We were not based in Sydney during the renovations but they kept us up to date with progress, any potential issues and also dealt with hiccups caused by us e.g. picking the incorrect things! Highly recommend JSR and a big shout out to George our project manager who managed everything very well and also Richard/Jason/Sam. Thank you!

Exactly as their name implies JSR is ‘just’ (fair, good value) ‘simple’ (straightforward) and absolutely ‘reliable’ ... always responsive and punctual. For the full renovation of our tiny, studio apartment in North Sydney we interviewed and asked three building companies for quotations. We chose JSR after reading all the testimonials and for their professionalism, approachability, and realistic estimation of price and building time. They have lived up to expectations: Richard, Jason and Project Manager George were always patient and understanding and willing to push possibilities to their limits.
