I recently had a full renovation of my unit done by JSR Builders and am sooo happy with every aspect of the process and the result was amazing. Jason, Richard and George are all so nice to deal with and very skilled and knowledgeable. George project managed the whole thing and it went so seamlessly and the flat looks amazing ! JSR have just finished my bathroom renovation in a 1970s apartment building. I undertook to get 4 quotes and included JSR as they were recommended to me by a previous client in the same building. The builders were exemplary in working in small spaces. From the time they arrived they encased all my furnishings and the common property corridor to my apartment in protective plastic sheeting that remained in place until the end of the job. During construction they ensured all debris was removed from the site. On completion, they undertook a general clean and removed any remaining debris. Each of the tradespeople contracted did their work well and consulted with me, the supervisor George, and the architectural plan. George was present throughout, if not in person, by phone. All communications were respected and acted upon. This bathroom definitely has a WOW factor. I am extremely happy with the result and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting to undertake a renovation, particularly in small spaces. Thank you guys!!!

"We can't believe how lucky we were to work with such an amazing family. The JSR team are one in a million and have exceeded our expectations. We are over the moon with our renovation, they have transformed our Town house into a home. My background has been in project management of construction projects, building 32 restaurants from scratch in Manhattan New York. My mum also designed and managed the build of the house we grew up in as kids and has gone on to do several renovations for herself, friends and family. JSR is by far the best building team we have come across /worked with. Our build included a full kitchen renovation with the removal of living room wall. Full lower level revamp involving floor plan change, enlarging bedrooms with wall / doorway removals and rellocation and new bathroom. We are thrilled with it all! We have a toddler and lived at home during the entire process. The boys were so sensitive to us being in the home, keeping things as clean and as safe as they could , and worked with us to navigate through our little fella's daytime sleeping schedule. They were always available to talk, always returned calls and emails, gave us amazing design advice, and came out pretty much bang on budget / quote. Prior to engaging JSR our previous builder pulled out at the last minute resulting in us losing money and time in our renovation. When we engaged Jason and his team they were able commence immediately. We have already passed Jason’s details to some of our family and friends and can’t recommend them enough. They are honest and obliging and come with a wealth of experience when it comes to renovations. We recently renovated our Neutral Bay apartment and highly recommend George and the team at JSR. We live overseas and our agent arranged for 3 quotes and we could see immediately that the JSR quote was complete and very clear about the work to be done, the fittings and appliances to be used and the layout. The existing kitchen was dark and made poor use of the space, but now we have a light, modern and highly-functional kitchen with plenty of storage. JSR Builders completed two bathrooms for us recently and we are very pleased with the result. Throughout the process of complete strip out and renewal of fittings in both bathrooms, Jason was an excellent project manager. One bathroom also required a wall removal, blocking up of a door, and repositioning of a toilet, all on the third floor, needing scaffolding. Everything proceeded smoothly. No detail or concern we raised was too small for Jason's attention. He responded to all queries promptly and always with a solution to any problem. He was particularly concerned that all plumbing and other non-visible work such as waterproofing was done properly and safely as well as producing a visibly attractive result. JSR tradesmen did very competent work, cleaning up well after their jobs, and Richard completed all office work and ordering on schedule as required. We are happy to recommend JSR builders for all work of this type.

After contacting multiple builders and tradesman, many of which did not call me back, I was recommended JSR via a friend who had previously used them and had been extremely happy with their work. From the beginning, Jason was extremely professional, he called me straight back when I left an enquiry and he came to quote within a couple of days. He was thorough and detailed and offered some great solutions to problems along the way. As I am a designer, I was extremely particular with regard to finishes and fixtures and Jason was more than happy to accomodate. The cost of the complete renovation was right on budget with no unexpected increases that had not already been communicated. The quality of their workmanship was prefect and their various trades a joy to work with. I would recommend and do recommend JSR to anyone who is looking for a quality renovation with great service.
