I first used JSR Builders for the renovation of a small bathroom and kitchen in my rental unit in 2016. At the time I was living overseas so I communicated with the boys via email. I was so impressed with the quality and attention to detail JSR had provided to me without me even being there that it was without reservation I wanted them to renovate my dream home that I purchased 8 months ago. I can honestly say that it has been a pleasure to work with JSR Builders. I actually felt like I was working with them and that it was a team effort. From the beginning they listened to my ideas and helped to guide me in my choices and design. It was a much bigger job than I had anticipated but they communicated costs to me at every stage and were always trying to help me find the best value for money and the best tradespersons and materials to use in my home. Alan Holden our project supervisor was a genius in our attic and with the detail he insisted upon in every aspect of our renovation. He picked up on small things that I would never have noticed and tirelessly answered my questions and solved problems that popped up with trade/building issues or product delivery. He was always available and always on time. In fact I would have to say I was the one more difficult to get a hold of. I wholeheartedly recommend JSR builders to anyone looking for any type of renovation or build however big or small without reservation. JSR are a family business and after working so closely with Jason, Richard and Alan over the past few months I feel part of the JSR family too. I am very proud of the new home they have created for my family and I know they are too - it’s impressive!

They have added so much facility by using cabinetry in a very clever way - more than doubling storage space yet not detracting from the living area. I had the pleasure of working with all three of the builders in particular our primary contact Richard Bechara. Richard on the renovation of 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house did a fabulous job. I can recommend him highly and without reservation. When we first brought the house it was quite old and was not well kept. The house had water damage and was in a bad shape. I engaged Richard to come to the house and provide me with a quote for massive renovation. At the time I had thoughts of knocking down walls etc. But upon consultation with Richard, he provided me with innovative ways to modernize the house without taking on a significant cost. Richard listened to what our needs were with a growing family and soon realized that the kitchen was the most important room of the house. He built us an amazing kitchen. In fact to date, people walk into our house and comment on how big and beautiful the kitchen is. Other people who have also done renovations commented on the attention to detail our kitchen has that their kitchen didn’t. Even things as small as the added space in the kitchen draws. Richards’s crew did all jobs from tiling to roofing, putting up sheds, carpentry, air conditioning, lighting and much more. We were thoroughly happy with all of the jobs they undertook. Throughout the course of the renovation, Richard was a very professional. He was punctual and very responsive to phone calls and emails. He often would come and work on weekends and around our schedule. He was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. However, we ended giving him more work because we were happy with the contractors he used and had trust with him throughout the process. This included asking him to put in the ducted air-conditioning and also replace all 13 windows in the house with rendering. Replacing roofs in the backyard pergola and putting up a backyard shed. There is still plenty of work to be done and when we are ready to do it, we will definitely be engaging Richard again. It would have been what it was if it was not for Richard and his team. We did look at other builders but found that Richard was the most level headed one while at the same time being cost conscious. My husband and I love our house and enjoy it every day.
